Frequently asked questions

What should i expect as a new client?

Your first appointment will include an extensive consultation. Using your consultation, your experienced massage therapist will decide on a treatment plan and guide you through your first experience with us. After your massage, your therapist will explain their findings and recommend a course of action.

How do I prepare for my Massage?

A: Skip the heavy meal and eat a snack. Drink some water. Avoid alcohol, pain medications, and other sense altering drugs for 12 hours before your appointment. Wear comfy clothes that are easy to take off. Use the restroom right before your session. Remove necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings and dangling earrings. When you get on the table, take a few long deep breaths.

Do I have to get Naked?

A: Absolutely not. We always advice our clients to undress to their comfort level. This is different for everyone. Some people don’t mind undressing completely, some leave on their underwear. While others get on the table fully clothed.

DOes massage Hurt?

A: Massage should never hurt. Please let your therapist know right away if you’d like less pressure, more pressure, or if the pressure is just right. You will not hurt our feelings or upset us if you ask for a change in pressure. We want you to be comfortable.

How often should I get a massage?

A: We recommend making massage therapy part of your monthly routine. Massage has many health benefits, which are compounded when massage is regularly performed. Our therapists live and breathe by this sentiment and get a massage every month.

What payments do you take?

A: Card, cash, or Venmo. All cash payments must be exact change. We don’t keep change at the office.

Do I Leave a tip?

A: This varies from massage therapist to massage therapist. At BodiPos, gratuity is never expected but always appreciated.

What are your cancellation and no-show policies?

A: We have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Please send a text, leave a voicemail, or cancel online within 24 hours of your appointment time. Otherwise we charge 50% for late cancelations and 100% for no-shows.
